JAMESTOWN-Steven Patterson, 46, is in the city jail after a Tuesday morning raid at Apt. 2, 262 Forest Ave where police say he was selling untaxed cigarettes.

Investigators report finding more than 10,000 cigarettes along with “several thousand dollars in cash.”

Patterson is charged with felony possession of unstamped and untaxed cigarettes and 5th degree criminal tax fraud.

Jamestown Police , Jamestown Metro Drug Task Force and New York State Police CNET assissted the New York State Tax and Finance with executing a search warrant about 8:40 a.m. according to the media report.
