JAMESTOWN-Three city residents were accused Tuesday of misusing food stamps for several months at Fresh Cut Meats & More, 631 Newland Ave.

Nicole Devlieger, 39, Bowen Street; Marleen Hall, 49, W. 6th Street and Peter Golonka, 39, Forest Park allegedly misused SNAP/Food Stamp benefits for months at a time in the store according to a media release by the county sheriff’s office. The charge is a misdemeanor, and no dollar estimate of the alleged misuse was provided.

The investigators report the alleged misuse occurred from mid-2015 through March last year.

Jamestown Police, Chautauqua County Heslth and Human Services and the U.S. Dept of Agriculture joined in the investigation with the sheriff’s office.
